Popular Science Library at School
Knowledge grows when we share it.
The popular science library grew from a wish to bring science closer to teachers and pupils and encourage curiosity that continues beyond the classroom lesson. This EDUKOS project is connected with Radoje Domanović Primary School in Kragujevac, with which the association has a cooperation agreement.
The idea behind the library
The aim is to make scientific and popular science books in the natural, social and technical sciences readily accessible to primary and secondary school teachers. The project also envisages magazines and multimedia resources — documentaries, radio programmes and recordings of lectures — as additional sources for learning and preparing engaging lessons. The library is also intended for pupils who want to explore further, prepare for competitions or take part in school clubs. The idea rests on free access to knowledge and voluntary work by the organisers. The photographs show the library at Radoje Domanović, alongside computers, 3D printers and models that enrich the space for exploration and learning.
